I have a problem with my main computer, which is running Vista. The problem is that whenever i move the mouse, it will take about 50% CPU.
I have made sure that it isn't a problem with the drivers or software for my G5 Laser mouse. I also tried a few other mouses to be sure, even though i was sure that my G5 wasn't broken.
I even went as far as to ask on the official logitech forums in the threed Moving mouse results in high CPU usage, but it would seem that even their technical support was unfamiliar with the problem.
Below are some images of the CPU usage while moving the mouse, and holding it still. The spikes indicates mouse movement.

I also tried reinstalling vista, and doing this month for the 3th time.
It would seem that it only happens in the desktop environment, whenever i run some game in fullscreen, it doesn't seem to occur. I know this because i have a small LCD in my keyboard, which shows CPU usage.
I'm now considering dual booting with xp, to see if that solves the problem. I never had anything like this happen before, and I'm almost sure it shouldn't happen in Vista.

I now use Windows7 x64 bit, and the problem persists.. It doesn't seem to effect performance though, so i ain't really trying to fix it, or figure out what curses it anymore.
Still, feel free to comment though, it would be nice to get it cleared up!
