Rest assured that the current spam posted in comments on the Blog is under investigation. I do not plan to filter comments, but i do plan to block the majority of automated spam.
In addition, any spam that i manage to trace, will be reported to the relevant ISPs, and potentially the authorities in the residing country.
Any SEO benefits from posting these comments, will be short term. As they will all be disabled from the normal view, and stored in the database for potiential futher investigation.

I just updated the Admin section of the blog. Admins are now able to disable thousands of comments, with a single click of their mouse/press of enter.
I've disabled around 2.000 messages within minutes, thanks to the new system it doesn't require much effort on my part, to clean the blog manually. I also blocked the ips they where posted from, so far a total of 149 IPs.
