The New Battle Net

I have just created an account on battle.net, and added my CD-Keys for Diablo II and the Expansion.

One of the best new features, is that you can download the game-client directly from battle.net. When you have added your CD-keys for the game. I really hope this also means that we are able to play future games without the CD, and i also hope it will bring some new life to older titles.

Diablo 2 Ladder Reset

You may have heard it already, but the diablo 2 ladder is about to reset. It was announced that it could happen as soon as the end of April, this is something which happens about once/year, so i really hope i get to play from the start this time.

Diablo 2 is almost the only game i bother to play these days, i quite simply don't have the time i had when i was a kid. Now i also have my website projects to work on, while i also do some video editing in Vegas Pro.

Anyway, i hope they wait a few days with the reset. Because i have a planned trip to Bornholm this weekend, which i would hate to miss out on.

Free Online Play Please

I really hope that Diablo 2 continiues to be free, and that future games continiue to be free. I however don't mind some extra features costing a little, such as the ability to have a friends list, or upload Avatars.

The gaming industry has seen the potiential in payed subscriptions to their online games, i just hope that Diablo2 continiues to be free. And that Diablo3 will be when that time comes, otherwhise i quite simply stick to single player.
