Ubuntu

So far i don't really like Ubuntu, having an ASUS EAH3850 x2, its been a pain in the ass to get things rolling, and it still ain't rolling, plus it didn't even find my sound blaster audigy, so i have to check for a driver later.

Further more, it appears you still have to enter commands from the Terminal, (something similar to the command prompt in windows, only uglier). Certain things needs to be installed from the Terminal, (which is a big no no) by my standards.

Its also rather slow, takes 1 sec+, just to shift between active windows. Maybe because i haven't got the drivers properly installed yet.

And finally a smaller update to my CPU issue. I've found that the CPU usage when moving the mouse also increases by an equally propitious level in Ubuntu. While I'm still unsure that it has an actual performance impact, it doesn't do so in Windows XP, but its the same for both Vista 32/64bit, Windows7, and Ubuntu. I'm starting to think it might be the motherboard. Likely i change the motherboard way before i ever get time to look properly into it.
